Daily Behavior Chart
The behavior system in our classroom is a clip chart system. The system promotes positive classroom behavior, and encourages students to self monitor their behavior. Everyone begins their day on green, and has the opportunity to move their clips up or down the chart depending on their behavior. Positive behavior allows the students to "clip up," while inappropriate behavior choices cause students to "clip down."
The Daily Behavior Chart is stapled weekly into your child's agenda book for daily communication. The behavior chart MUST BE SIGNED DAILY! Along with any color changes outside of green, a written explanation be provided. Please feel free to write any notes or concerns in your child's agenda.
Daily Behavior Chart Colors Green: Hooray! Great Day! Yellow: Warning (5 min Time-Out) Orange: 2nd Warning (10 min Time-Out) Red: Parent Phone Call |
